Residential Land are looking for a web savvy Online Marketing Intern to join our team.

This job is a volunteer role and will suit the ambitious student/graduate looking to build experience in a Property Marketing function while looking for their next move in online/digital marketing.

Residential Land buy, rent and sell property across prime central London. With a large portfolio of properties for rent across the best postcodes in London, we are on one of London’s largest private landlords.

Online Marketing Internship:

The role of the internship is to provide Online Marketing support to the Marketing team. Your duties will include:

• Increase search engine optimisation (SEO) for websites through Link Building and writing targeted web copy
• Build profile and presence through social media
• Help to deliver all marketing communications – marketing literature, email marketing campaigns
• Assist writing online articles
• Assistance with managing contacts database, websites, communications, PR
• Monitoring listings of our properties on Portals and liaising with Agencies to ensure accuracy
• The role will also involve other general Marketing duties

We are seeking the following competencies and attributes:

• Efficient systematic approach, excellent time management.
• Good copywriting skills
• Basic HTML experience would be an advantage
• Understanding of on-page and off-page SEO
• Ability to multi task
• Working quickly with good momentum

Hours:
Full Time; 3 days a week
10.00 am to 18.00pm
1 hour lunch break

Terms
• First month on a trial basis with no salary
• Thereafter, we will pay expenses up to £100 per week
• You should be able to commit for a 3 month minimum

Most importantly, the right candidate will be a motivated self starter, with a professional manner, an ability to act on their own initiative and as part of a team, display a positive attitude, be highly organised and hard working.

The chosen candidate will develop their Online Marketing skills in an exciting company within the Property industry. The experience will beneficial to any future employer and will build a foundation for a long term career.

On 25th April 2010, two staff members from Residential Land successfully completed the London Marathon.

Emma, was running the 26 mile London Marathon on behalf of the Motor Neurone Disease Association, a charity very close to her heart. It was Emma’s first time running a Marathon and she managed to raise over £5,000!

Anthony had also never entered a Marathon, and managed to complete the race in an extremely impressive 4hrs 45 minutes. Equally impressive was that he raised nearly £1500 for his chosed charity, the Severn Hospice.

Anthony has said “It was an amazing day and some of the highlights include running past Richard Branson and his daughter (I know which one I preferred) as well as crossing the line with a fancy dress beer bottle one side and an ice cream (fancy dress) the other.” However, he also added “it will be a good few years before I recover and attempt another one!”

Emma has since said that next year she intends to either swim the solent or climb Mount Kilamanjaro - so watch this space!

Residential Land would like to congratulate both Emma and Anthony for their successful efforts completing the race quickly and in one peice, and for raising so much money for such worthy causes.
