On 9th May Residential Land attended an auction at Annabel’s restaurant in Berkeley Square in aid of the Princess Margaret Fund at the Stroke Association. The Princess Margaret Fund, set up by David Linley, will be used to help those affected by stroke and to fund research into stroke prevention, diagnosis, treatment and methods of rehabilitation.
Every year, an estimated 150,000 people in the UK suffer from a stroke and the Stroke Association is the only UK wide charity exclusively involved with combating strokes in people of all ages.
Having a stroke has a greater disability impact than other medical condition and the Stroke Association funds research prevention, better methods of rehabilitation and helps stroke patients and their families directly through its “Life After Stroke Services”.
