Characterful Chiswick may not have the renowned gastronomic reputation of other London areas, but there are plenty of excellent places to eat and drink here. From authentic Italian sourdough pizzas and green pub gardens to Michelin-starred dining and fine foods from the Farmer’s Market, W4 has your summer eats covered.

Franco Manca

This beloved sourdough pizza spot needs very little introduction, as you’d be hard-pressed to find a pizza fan who doesn’t rave about the authentic sourdough disks, organic ingredients and relaxed atmosphere at Franco Manca, which just a few years ago was merely a small stall at Brixton Market. Now with eleven branches and counting across London they’re serving up pizza all over the city, but the Chiswick restaurant is the only one to offer fortnightly pizza-making masterclasses too.
