A local institution since 1948 (!), Harry Morgan’s is infamous in North London for serving authentic New York deli-style kosher food. First timers should go for the meaty salt beef sandwich and the gooey Oreo cheesecake for dessert. Sunny day? Crockers Folly

This beautiful Grade II listed restaurant on Aberdeen is a true hidden gem, having only recently reopened following a ten year closure. Originally built in 1898 it was known for having beautiful fittings and marble interiors, and has been returned to its original glory as a pub, restaurant and cocktail bar full of archways, pillars and elaborate stucco. The food and drinks are pretty good too!

The Duke of York

Looking for a proper pub in St John’s Wood? Head on over to the Duke of York, a historic 19th century public house with great food, a relaxed atmosphere and traditional interiors. There are tables on the pavement outside for warmer days if you can manage to get one, and Mondays and Wednesdays are dedicated to burgers and steaks respectively, so we hope you like meat!
