Back in early April Palace Wharf in Fulham was beginning to take shape though it was still very much a building site. In an effort to capture this transformation we sent a photographer before and after completion. Scroll down to see how much it’s changed.

Riverfront living: several apartments face the Thames with bucolic views of the London Wetland Centre beyond.

All mod cons: apartments come with built-in bean-to-cup coffee machines and wine coolers as standard.

Crittall windows: in order to retain the heritage of the building while also adding efficiency and comfort, the original steel-framed        windows have been replaced with double glazed versions by iconic window manufacturer Crittall.

Townhouse modernism: The copper cladding on the the five townhouses for sale will change with time; it’s greening patina lending idiosyncratic character to the slickly modern cubist design.

Cutting edge tech: Crestron home automation seamlessly integrates AV (audio visual) systems into each apartment.

Industrial heritage: great care was taken to retain the historical character of the building. Palace Wharf was built in 1907 and used for importing marble.
