From bottomless brunches to breathtaking views, we’ve asked London lifestyle influencers to fill in the blanks and shine a light on the city they call home.

Fern is the stylish woman behind the blog  Fern About Town, sharing her native London through a plethora of pastel-coloured pictures and revealing a few of the capital’s best kept secrets along the way. From cafes to flower markets, her blog is one girl’s guide to London and beyond…and the journey through beauty, style, food and travel continues on Fern’s exquisitely curated Twitter and Instagram.

Home is…

London. It’s where I grew up, and where I still call home.

My guilty pleasure is…

the escapism of an old Hollywood movie. Anything starring the likes of Fred Astaire and Judy Garland is right up my street.

My go-to shop is…

…Liberty. I could happily while away a few hours in the beauty hall, it’s great for discovering new brands in skincare, fragrance and cosmetics.

My favourite bar is…

The American Bar at The Savoy – it can’t be beaten. I love the mirrored art deco interiors.

My favourite memory in London is…

visiting London Zoo for the first time as a little girl and having my photo taken with its resident gorilla statue!

I find my zen…

walking through the gardens of Lincoln’s Inn Fields. It’s a little pocket of tranquillity right in the middle of the city.

My brunch spot is…

…the Riding House Cafe – it does an amazing chorizo hash brown. But I’m happy with anywhere that does decent poached eggs and avocado on toast.

A London view that takes my breath away is…

…the top of Primrose Hill. I love the City just peeking out through the treetops.

My ideal day in London would be…

a manicure at London Grace and discovering a new place for brunch or a food market. If it’s a Sunday, then also a stroll down Columbia Road flower market to pick up some fresh blooms.

I get my interior design inspiration from…

a mix of old and new! My house is full of antique glassware, and vintage travel posters and book finds.
