Our Hamlet Gardens’ properties in London’s highly desirable W6 area offer residents the chance to live in historic Victorian buildings that have been lovingly restored with impeccable attention to detail.

Nestled in the Westcroft Conservation Square – a stone’s throw from Ravenscourt Park – the Hamlet Gardens mansion blocks were built over a century ago, between 1898 and 1903. The striking red brick houses feature indented entrance courts and stone dressings complimented by ornamental gables and balconies. In short, the buildings are brimming with character and townscape value.

Inside, the common parts retain original details that speak to the building’s heritage. Approaching the entrance via one of the building’s pristine red and off-black chequered pathways, residents stepping inside the mansions are greeted with intricate, relief-patterned tiling that leads them up the staircase to their properties.

Upon entering one of our Hamlet Gardens’ flats you are greeted with state-of-the-art mod cons and luxury design. From boiling water taps to bespoke bed headboards, from wine coolers to statuario bathroom tiles, no detail is spared.

Tessa Ferguson, Resi Land’s Head of Interior Design, says, “With these properties we wanted to create a contemporary feel but with a sense of warmth too which is why we’ve used textural fabrics such as the woollen throws or the beautiful bedroom blinds from Parisian design company Nobilis.”

The interior design team works with various suppliers to make bespoke furniture that is suitable for the apartment in question. Tessa says, “If we take the headboard in the master bedroom for example, it is not off the shelf – the number and width of its panels were decided by us. It is those small details that elevate our properties above so many others on offer in the city.”

As with all our properties, Hamlet Gardens is administered in a thoroughly modern way geared towards maximising our residents’ comfort and convenience. Security staff are present throughout the day and tenants are further protected by discreet use of CCTV cameras.

All of our properties are serviced by a dedicated, on-site building manager, and in Hamlet Gardens’ case it is Mark Shack; it’s his job to ensure the day-to-day running of the property goes as smoothly as possible.

“My favourite part of the job is meeting new people,” says Mark. “I’m here to cater to our residents in any way that will make their stay with us a fully relaxing experience – whether that means letting an Ocado delivery into the building, securing exclusive deals in their favourite restaurants and gyms or simply looking after a parcel that couldn’t be delivered. When it comes to maintenance issues I am the first point of contact. Residents can contact me via a dedicated email address, a quick whatsapp message, a phone call or simply popping into the on-site office.”

As ever, we have sought to combine a high-end, distinctive property with exceptional quality on-site service and deeply considered interior design within the flats themselves.
