Truth have everything from the posh breakfast sandwich to eggs benedict, from American pancakes to avocado on toast; just one look at the menu and you’ll be wanting it all. Gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options are available.

11:00 – Emery Walker’s House

7 Hammersmith Terrace, London W6 9TSStep into the past and wander through the homely quirkiness of Emery Walker’s house. Distinguishing itself from other Arts & Crafts house museums, 7 Hammersmith Terrace is one of the few houses in the world to host masses of original Morris & Co textiles and wallpapers in nearly every room of the house.

13:00 – Ravenscourt Park

Paddenswick Rd, W6 0UAFeeling like a secret garden, Ravenscourt Park is an oasis of greenery and relaxation. Walk off the delicious breakfast with a stroll through this hidden gem of London. No matter what the weather, Ravenscourt Park has an invariably calming atmosphere. If it’s sunny, why not make use of the sporting facilities: tennis courts, a football pitch, basketball and netball courts are available. The garden centre and cafe are an inviting alternative for those less fussed about getting a sweat on.

14:00 – Lunch at The Gate

51A, Queen Caroline St, Hammersmith, W6 9QLFor nearly 3 decades The Gate has been widely recognised as one of London’s best vegan and vegetarian restaurants. Located in a converted artist’s studio with large windows overlooking a courtyard, The Gate prides itself on providing nourishing, beautifully presented cuisine. Dishes worth drooling over are their Sweet Potato and Chickpea Burger, Orecchiette Melanzana and Wild Mushroom Polenta Cake. For health and wellbeing, try a delicious Broccoli and Almond salad or Raw Pad Thai.

15:30 – Shopping on King Street

Walk off lunch with some retail therapy along King Street. Expect bargains from high-street favourites and delightful surprises at independent stores. Why not pop into Traid, a cherished charity shop filled with designer goodies that aims to improve workers’ lives in the global textile industry. Alternatively, stock up on pre-show snacks at Bushwacker Wholefoods, a health food store that has all the characteristics of a corner shop.

17:30 – Dinner at River Cafe

Thames Wharf, Rainville Rd, W6 9HAFine wines, Italian cuisine and a riverside location are all par for the course at the River Cafe. Dinner is a slightly expensive treat, but one that guarantees mouth watering excellence through its inventive menus that change daily. Beef steak fiorentina and polenta with porcini are a few of our favourite things.

19:00 – Catch a play at the Lyric Theatre

Serving as a community hub and a theatre in one, the Lyric feels less like the traditional theatre location and more a cool place to hang out and enjoy some live entertainment. BED – Hamlet Gardens


The fat lady has sung, the curtain has fallen and it’s time to head home to dream about your day spent in W6. Our Hamlet Gardens residents are lucky enough to be within walking distance of Ravenscourt Park tube, where our beautifully restored red brick Victorian mansion blocks contain luxe apartments with relaxing park views.
