Our Hamlet Gardens properties in Ravenscourt Park perfectly balance the red brick Victorian exterior and period details in the communal areas with elegantly contemporary interiors – a testament to the impeccable taste of our head of design Tessa Ferguson.

With a combination of warm, textural fabrics and custom-designed furniture, let’s take a look at the beautiful details that make Hamlet Gardens a home.

The living room and dining area are smartly divided yet all of a piece; the dominant aquamarine of the print in the living room is picked up in accents on the abstract, textured brass sculpture on the dining wall. Meanwhile, softly brushed fabrics on the sofa invite you to sink in and relax.

The Andrew Martin cushions in Iznik Cobalt fabric feature a printed velvet suzani design that gives the room a hint of vintage, lived-in ambience with a touch of Central Asian exoticism.

Two Venetian Alhambra Mirrors bring balance and light to the living room. Here we see one of two Modern Cream Studded Armchairs from Shropshire Design draped in a diamond design grey throw, creating a contemporary contrast with the mirror’s more traditional tessellated pattern.

Wooden-slatted venetian blinds with contrast tapes give the living room a dramatic noir feel in the afternoon sun.

This parquet coffee table from Oka features a recycled elm inlaid top in a starburst design, and a sleek, polished stainless steel frame.

This Caple wine cabinet features touch controls, dual temperature zones for red and white wines, and beech shelves into which your prized bottles can rest.

This large Venetian antiqued mirror in the apartment hallway is a masterpiece of faded grandeur; there’s nothing that offsets perfection quite like perfectly incorporated imperfection!

One of two faux shagreen nightstands with nickel handles brings all of the glamour of sharkskin to your bedroom with none of the danger of losing a limb.

The multi-panelled headboard in the master bedroom was custom made to Residential Land specifications in Zinc Callisto fabric, so you can avoid bumping your head in style. Elegantly finished with Dalmation-coloured Bertrand cushions and a Zoeppritz fleece throw.

All of the bedrooms feature Roman blinds with a waterfall design and a contrast leading edge – the master bedroom is decked out in a decadent Nobilis fabric called Tailor.

The bathrooms are entirely clad in large format Statuario porcelain tiles; the bespoke vanity unit and cabinet feature bevelled mirror fronts, and the fittings are all Vado brassware.

The communal areas speak more directly to the past; the staircase features the original wrought-iron balustrade in classic Victorian style, topped off with a gorgeously weathered mahogany handrail wending its way upwards. A wool carpet runner in muted dark grey with chrome stair rods allows the period features to shine.

Period glazed ceramic tiles in the metro style line the hallways with warm colours – the perfect welcome after a day away from your perfect home.
