“My favourite item on the menu are the toasties for sure! The kimchi one in particular is so spicy at the same time as being so cheesy – the two flavours are equally brilliant and will fill your belly immediately. If you don’t like kimchi the avocado is equally good.”
“My favourite thing about the local area is the riverside. It’s really beautiful and it never feels too busy. In summer the bars and pubs along the river are amazing.”

“There’s just such a mixture of people and nationalities that it’s always really interesting. Recently, we had loads of Spanish people buying Mimosas for Women’s day – I didn’t even know that was a tradition! Every day is different.”
“One memory that really stands out was a Halloween-themed wedding. We had to make a ‘dead bouquet’ which was really fun. It was so unusual because we had to kill the flowers before we gave them to the bride and groom.”
“My favourite flower? Probably hydrangeas because they’re so unique, and huge!”

“I love the area because it’s so diverse. There’s a lot of nice places to eat and such a variety of cuisines. Everything is close together too; you’ve got the shopping centre, a cinema, a theatre and a market as well. Also in the Summer they put screens up in the square so everyone can watch Wimbledon (or movie screenings in the evenings). It’s just such a cool area.”
“Working at the Lyric is amazing. It’s a theatre so it’s naturally a fun environment to be in. You get to see all the different shows and meet loads of interesting people – especially all the different actors that pass through.”
