Our Hamlet Gardens apartments were recently featured in Keep Things Local but if you didn’t get the chance to read the interview with Hamlet Gardens’ building manager, Mark Shack, explaining why it’s such a choice place to live, you can read the full article below.

With beautifully refurbished apartments available to rent, elegant communal areas and an on-site management team, Hamlet Gardens is one of West London’s most desirable locations.

‘Whatever the issue – the boiler breaking down, an essential repair or simply a signature being required for a parcel – we are here to help,’ smiles Mark Shack, Residential Land’s Building Manager at Hamlet Gardens in Ravenscourt Park. ‘For example, the other night a tenant called our 24-hour emergency line because she’d lost her keys. It was 11.30pm, but we arranged for someone to come and unlock her apartment. It’s all part of the service.’

That level of conscientious care is perhaps a key reason why Residential Land is one of London’s leading specialist property companies. At its major sites across the metropolis an experienced Building Manager is always on hand as a visible point of contact and to solve problems both big and small.

Mark has worked for Residential Land for 12 years. He assumed responsibility for Hamlet Gardens in 2015, when the business acquired its extensive portfolio of rental properties in the striking red brick mansion blocks just off King Street.

‘Ola Palk, the Assistant Building Manager, and I are here Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm,’ he says. ‘Our aim is to make our tenants’ lives run as smoothly as possible. We can be contacted by email, a WhatsApp message, a phone call or at the on-site office.’

Just a stone’s throw from Ravenscourt Park itself, the Victorian mansion blocks are some of the most distinctive in Hammersmith. Mark looks after all the apartments in nine blocks, with another two blocks about to finish their comprehensive refurbishment process.

‘We’re in the hospitality industry, so it’s also a key part of my role to liaise with prospective tenants; that could be blue chip corporate clients or individuals who walk in off the street. If someone wants to view a property, I’ll be more than happy to show them around.’

All the Hamlet Gardens blocks have been impeccably restored, with particular attention paid to period features such as the red and black chequered exterior pathways and the original relief-patterned green tiling in the communal areas. The same meticulous attention to detail is evident inside the wonderfully high-ceilinged apartments.

‘From top to bottom, they have been completed to the highest standard by our design team,’ says Mark. ‘The wood floors and furniture are brand new, everything is freshly painted and decorated and, of course, they have all mod cons. Also, because tenants deal directly with us, we can tailor an apartment to their needs; if they prefer unfurnished or semi-furnished space, we just remove the furniture.’

Currently, all sizes of apartment are available for rent and new tenants can be assured of a dedicated personal service. ‘We are a one-stop shop,’ Mark confirms. ‘We’re here to meet and greet, to get everything organised and make life simple – you name it, we’ll try to do it!’
