Pimlico Fresh

Lunchtime for workers around Victoria station was given a boost by the arrival of this bright and airy cafe to Wilton Road three years ago. The dishes are bursting with freshness, from the colourful salads and tasty cakes to the popular smoothies. The cafe is big on breakfasts, which are served until 3pm on weekdays and include treats such as baked eggs and sourdough toast with avocado and bacon. Communal wooden tables and big chalkboards displaying the menu give the place a homely feel, and there’s even some pavement seating. Owner Jackie comes from Melbourne and with antipodean coffee shops all the rage in London, Pimlico Fresh is a welcome addition to the pack.
